About selling old batteries to QwikScrap

What batteries can I sell to QwikScrap?

QwikScrap buys common lead-acid batteries - car, inverter and UPS batteries - along with lithium-ion batteries from phones, laptops and EVs. Batteries are collected in the same visit as your other scrap but transported and processed separately, because of what's inside them.

Does a battery need to be working to sell it?

No. A battery doesn't need to hold a full charge to be eligible - old, weak or damaged batteries are accepted too. If a battery is leaking, swollen or physically damaged, don't puncture or open it - mention the condition while booking and keep it away from heat until collection.

Why does battery disposal need special handling?

Selling batteries through a proper channel keeps lead and acid out of soil and groundwater, instead of being discarded informally. Not sure what type you have? Send us a photo on WhatsApp or give us a call.
